Permata Pintar

The Faculty of Education Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) had launched the Permata Pintar programme, a programme specially designed for gifted children in Malaysia. This kind of children is given chance to reach their full potential as early as 5 years old, in collaboration with Johns Hopkins University.

Any child from 9 – 15 years old is advised to go through the preliminary tests (IQ TEST) online which are known as Ujian Permata Pintar UKM1, UKM2 and UKM3.300 selected students will then be having to attend a school holiday camp where the children will go through a special curriculum there designed by education experts from Centre for Talented Youth Johns Hopkins University and UKM itself.
